I have this locket that is signed Chanel on the front it shows the double Cs on the back. The yellow discoloration is from the lighting from taking the picture. It is a costume piece because of the settings and I know that Chanel started out making costume jewelry. If I am wrong I am sorry. Could someone have any ideas on this. THANK YOU for your time.

I am glade that people love it. I starting rethinking about costume jewelry. I do like and love the older pieces because they were designed and made the way expensive pieces; with great care. I am sorry to say that some of the costume pieces today don't have the look of yesterday. I have always believed quality is better than quantity. Thank you for your time.
