    While the previous owner obviously took good care of the Lufkin No. 2707 6" (English Pattern) steel rule, it appears he barely maintained a functional leather sheath.

    The No. 2707 is marked both sides: One side 16ths, 32nds, and 64ths inches, millimeters and 1/2 millimeters; Second side 12ths, 24ths, 48ths, 96ths inches; and 10ths, 40ths, 50ths and 100ths inches.
