Made by the Ward Brothers out of Glasgow during the Mid century. A wonderfully overly large sterling brooch with gold overlay thistle designs. The large faceted Cairngorm gemstone mounted in the center is a respectable 34.8mm is diameter and 14.5mm height cognac colored. A veil or feather like inclusion inside and visible with back lit views. The brooch is 3” in diameter, weighs 50.8g, and has Glasgow hallmarks.
