Bronze Turtle Sprinkler

This one is really solid and heavy so it won't be sliding around at all. The only sprinkler holes are in the head, so I imaging it was part of a fountain or something. The washer is as solid as rock, so I think it's been around for awhile. Any idea when it was made or anything about it? I have never had an old figurative sprinkler like this, but I have seen them before.
