Bought sign from dealer at antique show has cream coloured background from toning and looking sideways at gloss
Lookslike rice paper marks and bottom corner has brown or black rust. As well r in Sinclair hooks down at bottom not like fakes. I have only ever seen porcelain ones and can’t
Find any tin ones on internet. Anyone know where they used this sign and if it’s original. Thanks in advance sign is 11x9 1/2

Im like you ..never seen one like that just porc.
well after talking to a couple reputable dealers they said pump plates were usually painted steel (not embossed) or porcelain so going to talk to guy. Just talked to the guy before sat show and the guy he got it from said it was off the big stainless pumps of the 1970s at this point I will go for a refund if it works out unless someone with knowledge of those pumps tells me other, thanks.
Well I Didn’t wanna say anything but I thought it was a reproduction,,
