Unknown item or date made. A thin embossed sheet of metal covers a piece of circular wood. Gold coating is mostly worn off. A good quality mirror (my wood ceiling is reflected in it). 2 hooks on sides of mirror. Hanger tab on back. Item measures 13" diameter, mirror 5 1/2" diameter. Found at a yard sale. Could this possibly been used on a ship?

I would say first half of the 20th century, but I could be completely wrong.
