Picked this up at the second last bi - monthly antiques fair on Sunday, a bold piece of Czech glass of the Art Deco era.
It is made from cased glass, clear over a mostly orange/red ground with an elongated spatter incorporating yellow, white & blue.
The vase measures 18 cm tall, 9 cm across the base, & 6.5 cm across the cut top rim.
It has what could be described as a hyacinth vase form, with a cupped top.
Last photo shows it with a distantly related vase of the same era that shows another variation on the cupped in top. Not to imply that these are by the same maker! Just to show two examples of a somewhat unusual form of vase.
Czech origin. No idea of a maker. Don’t want to start any controversies….
1920s - 1930s era.

Happy Halloween Marin
Your comment 'humans to be exterminated by robots' is perfect for Halloween, very invasion of the body snatchers lol...and sadly, too true.
Ha, many thanks, Jenni!
I thought the least I could do in the face of this bot spam onslaught was to make fun of it. Satire is often the only way to fight back! Wishing you a Happy Halloween, too…
