WW1 Trench Art knife, fork and spoon

This set was made post WW1 for the booming souvenir trade.

All of the utinsels have copper cast "driving bands" with a leaf decoration on the back and a listing of battles on the front.

The driving bands have been melted and recast, so they are all uniform in appearance.

Shops near the battlefields retailed items like this in the 1920s and 30s.
