Found this breast plate in a Mena Arkansas antique store. Has a letter in the box talking about an American college secret society. Dated 1937. Strange how the famous drug trafficking Mena, Arkansas airport, CIA base and central hub for the Contra cocaine ring has this in their antique store. Tried listing it for sale on eBay but it got pulled; also tried several auction houses. Is this taboo or what?

Can't sell it here either ! Probably get pulled because of KKK link.

I wonder if this is connected to the famous "Skull and Bones" club at Harvard (?).

On second thought probably not since it is clearly KKK. Years ago I saw a book on KKK memrobilia. Maybe a book search could turn up a copy for you.

Most ivy league schools have secret societies and I think the Skull and Crossbones were originally a Yale group. All have basicly the same measage, a new world order controled by government who is controled by their exceptional or privileged group that wields considerable power within its sphere.

I'm surprised you could get this. Most KKK items are normally kept a watch on and when the person that owns them passes KKK members move in and snag them up . I was told that is because the KKK doesn't like to see their items fall into the wrong hands. I don't know who would be considered wrong hands? Yes this may well get pulled because some people find these artifacts offensive. Here again the human race has many things to be ashamed of and hiding our skeletons doesn't make the bad that was done go away. We should be reminded of the evil in our society lest we forget and repeat it. An offensive but very poignant reminder of something we should be reminded not to perpetuate. I think it is a great piece of our diabolical history in this country.

      Do you collect KKK items?

No, I do not collect Klan items and only picked this one piece up because I had never seen a Klan breast plate; have seen Civil war breast plates also in the southern states. Not many of those around anymore either. The glass top leather presentation box with old manual typing on a heavily yellowed paper gave the item more authenticity? Not a Klan collector or black americana antiques. Just seemed rare and historical. Same town I found the slave shacks rusted leg irons listed earlier.

Just another illuminati government orcastrated secret society to put fear into the masses. Think they have black capes now and we call them federal judges.

Interesting to me that the style of the skull and crossbones, even including the "or glory" motto, is copied directly from the badge of the British 17th Lancers. I have a good hunch it wasn't with permission! One would think that the KKK could come up with an original design, even if it was for a skull and crossbones.
