    This trench art German spiked helmet was made from a cast aluminum base with shell brass ornamentation.

    The helmet is about 2" long and 1 1/2" tall.

    The actual spiked helmets were probably the most popular souvenir item for American soldiers to ship home, so this may have been a small sized and more manageable replacement for some soldier!
