Here are some closeups, continued from the previous post showing U.S Army Vietnam era equipment. This is what a U.S. soldier would be wearing in the jungles of Vietnam in 1968.

NICE grouping. Helmet cover is LATE Vietnam, maybe even post Vietnam. The Camo BDU's (ERDL pattern) came out in 1969 I believe, and the helmet covers of the same design were 1973....but I am not 100% on that....
