Thanks to designqvist I know this jug was produced by the Austrian glassworks Stölzle Oberglas. It's great to know this because I actually bought from an Austrian seller (was anounced on ebay as Kaj Franck's... of course it was not, but I got it for 1 euro plus shipping costs :) )
For some time I thought it would be a straight-lined version of one of Kjell Blomberg's designs for Gullaskruf, but it you read designqvist comment and follow her link, you will see I was not really crazy to think so.
I love learning about all your pieces and how you acquired them. 80% of my love of all of this is the hunt. Very few pieces I find am I attached to. When I am, look out.
However, I have a jumble, you have art ;))
haha!:) Well, that's because I'm very focused (=obsessed) on my search... but you always find such amazing stuff and at such prices! I envy you have the chance to find tall that stuff in thrift stores, S.A. and so on... nothing of the sort round here :/
And by the way, mine is an "arty jumble", if only for thewhole mess of hundreds of glass items displayed! ;)
Well, that's the way it used to look about two years ago... it's all changed much since then... I may send you a pic of the way it looks right now ;)
The green jug was made by the Austrian glass factory Stölzle Oberglas. I once had a green one, and I still have Kjell Blomberg's green pitcher for Gullaskruf. When I put them side by side it showed they were exactly the same size and the same green shade! You can take a look here:

You sometimes still can find the Oberglas pitchers in use at Heurigen (= simple Austrian wine bars).
By the way, designqvist, do you know if there's a 14 cm tall version of this jug? I have seen one just like this in that size and I was wondering if it would be the same design... Danke!!!
I actually have a waisted vase in clear glass, 14 cm high, bottom 8cm, opening 5,5 cm. As it looks just like my pitcher and as I bought it in Vienna I presume it is Stölzle Oberglas as well, but you never know...
