This another of my many clocks. This one is a Bentima 8 Day Clock made in Great Britain. This clock is a great piece does have the original key and pendulum. It does have a couple of blemishes a couple of wood chips on front and the gong block in back is a bit loose. The movement has a number 016961 and an image that says perivale all British clock. I was wondering if someone could date this piece for me. I was told it could be from the 1880s thru 1930s. I know the right ones are worth some good money. Thanks.

It's art deco so that would suggest 20's-30's. Between WW I and WW II, eh? That would be my guess.

These Perivale clocks were marketed under various names, this one was marketed under "Bentima " which helps to date it. They were also marketed under "Anvil" (which dates prior to 1935) etc. This one dates after 1935.
