My wife inherited this doll from her mother. I have been researching for over a month now, attempting to get information on the name for this doll. I do know that the back of the neck is labeled "Rustie" 2004 # 077/200. My research shows that most of the Rustie dolls are given names by the maker, but I can not find any Rustie dolls that were made in lots of 200. Most are in lots of 750, 1000, 1200 etc. This beautiful porcelain doll is 42 inches tall, comes with a metal stand. I do have the original box but I do not have the certificate of authenticity. If anyone out there can help me find the name for this doll it would be greatly appreciated.

My brother had collected Rustie's Dolls awhile back. I will check with him to see if he may know what her name is? I myself have two of the 42" dolls that were given to me as gifts. You will see allot of her dolls on the E-bay site. Unfortunately most of them do not sell for much. (only the one of a kind) I am not sure about the one you have, I'll get back to you soon.

Rustie did some beautifully dressed dolls and they sold quite high in the 1990's till the market for artist and collectible dolls hit bottom and no longer were selling . Kathy is right they don't sell well in todays market and I agree a one of a kind would fair better . She is beautiful doll as all Rustie's were . Display her and really her name is not that important as how she looks and who is attracted to her . Very nice !
      PS
Rustie made many many dolls and sold a lot on qvc or hsn also . She did many different amounts of a mold from 1 to 2000 and many in between . She also did small editions for a special event like HSN ( Home shopping network ) she really flooded the market with her dolls and they lost a lot of value as so many were made over the years .

I was given a 42" Rustie's Doll. There is no stamp on the back of the neck, and behind the ear there is a signature and #1. The doll has a broken finger and the wig is crazy wild (messy). I contacted the maker hoping to get a new hand and wig. She asked for pictures of the doll, behind the ear and back of neck. All of which I provided. She wanted more of the back of the neck (not telling me why), and I provided. There is nothing on the back of the neck. She told me that was not her signature and someone messed with the doll. I was to remove the signature behind the ear of the doll with finger nail polish remover. After doing some research, I found out about the stamped numbers on the neck. The maker told me the doll's name is Mara. Does anyone have any suggestions for hand, wig or why there is no stamp?
