This lamp was in my mother's house for many, many years. I am trying to find out any information on it. If someone knows what this is I would appreciate hearing from you. Many thanks in advance.

The oil lamp itself is fairly common from that period, no big deal. However, a cased green overlay,ribbon fluted shade is very rare. I could not put a value on it, as have never seen one up for bid or sold.
The shade is actually a ceiling fixture shade...looks nice on this lamp too.
