I got this in a second-hand store for about $15. I was among a bunch of cheep costume jewelry. The beautiful colour of the piece immediately caught my eyes. The pendant is marked 15CT and the chain is 12CT. The stones appear to be peridots. There are also several seed-pearls, but three fell out. I am thinking to take the piece to be repaired. My guess is that it might be Edwardian.

freiheit, indeed it is Edwardian and take a look at my recent Moonstone lavaliere...very similar in style. The seed pearls are easily replaceable and I have seen it done many times...we work on a lot of Antique Jewelry restoration. The store I work with is well known in the Antique Jewelry restoration field and was personal friends with Christie Romero. Claydons were mentioned in her books a few times and have traveled around the nation with her promoting her books. If you want I will offer my services to have the pearls replaced for you...wholesale charge..for a friend. Love the pendant...you scored!!!!

I just need a few days to "collect" myself. I just came back from a trip to an island - don't want to name names - but the poverty and destruction I have seen traveling to several cities and towns has left me in shock. I have seen a bit in my lifetime but I need to recuperate from this experience first :(

I wouldn't mind but the problem is that I am in Canada. This makes everything a lot more expensive and difficult. I have really bad experiences with Canada Post. At the end, it always worked out - but it cost me a few grey hairs:(
