I found this extremely heavy chunk of iron on the beach after a big storm many years ago. I've never seen or heard of another one of these but i thought it was interesting enough to slog it back to my garden where it continues to stub my toes till this day.

Does anyone know whether this is from WWI or WWII? or anything about it? i think it weighs between 50 and 80 lbs.

thanks so much ar8jason! it is 3x3x9, i think. i'll measure it later today. and i guess it is lead which explains the lack of rust and heaviness per size. any idea on date? i wonder if there's a clue somewhere?
