    This is a VULCANITE locket with on the front a yellow/rose golden decoration which is quite rare. It must have been made around 1850/60's . There could be placed two pictures ore one photo and hair of a deceased formerly usual.The inside of the locket has a nice decoration.This Vulcanite locket is made in The Netherlands and the decoration belongs to typical peasant jewelry.The gold decoration is 14K. I'v often see Vulcanite lockets or pendants but not see with golden application. You did?
