    Hi,

This is my first post and I am a bit stuck with trying to find the maker of this ormolu set crackle glazed item that I found at a chateau sale.

    Can anybody help?

    Cheers

    Monte

What a coincidence! Thank you so much for your reply. What would amateurs like me do without all you brilliantly knowledgeable people out there.

      Many thanks

I believe this may be a fake, often attributed to William Lowe, but made in Hong Kong by Wong Lee.often seen in red or blue

Even antiques experts have been fooled by these marks.
