Just received this clock from my father-in-laws collection but I'm afraid we have information on it. It's extremely heavy and no markings on the outside that I can see. Too nervous to monkey around on the inside if I don't know what in doing. Any knowledge or suggestion on how to find out more would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Possibly an Ansonia Eight-Day Enameled Iron Clock, "Boston Extra."
      Height, 11 inches
      Width, 15 inches
      Dial, 4 inches
More knowledgeable people will be along to comment.

I agree with you Dave, it appears to be a "Boston Extra" from circa 1904.
