Vintage 1964 British Smiths mantle clock.

Hi all,
This is a British Smiths mantel mantle clock awarded to my great-uncle, as the plaque says, in 1964. I presume it was new then. The clock is in wonderful running and general condition (and complete), probably because it was stored in an attic before it was given to me. It strikes on a gong on the hour and half-hour.
