I have enjoyed fixing old things and making them workable and attractive again. I have a 46 & 47 Willys Jeep and a project Jeep made from a collection of parts, all I have enjoyed fixing old things and making them workable and attractive again.   5. Nice old trunk. I got a Jenny Lind that has similar metal straps held on with the large brass button headed nails, just like yours. Let me know if you find a source for those, mine is missing a few.
  6. Thanks Dambii. I believe these types of desks were made during the first half of the 1900s. So 1930 is very possible. I didn't find any date on my drawers or any where else.
