    i liked these set even without any knowledge about japonism at all
    i don't know how old and from where

    is it art deco? or later??

    i believe it might be a japanese piece but as far as i know there has been workshops in france as well where japoinism lacquer items has been produced

    i don't know to clean it without damaging the lacquer...
    a little help with these two problems would be great

      Hi! Does it say Japan anywhere on it? Not questioning that it is Japanese, but the way it is written can really help date. Thinking 50s by the look of the mirror portion.
