    15.5" x 2.5" x 10" Salesman's Demonstrator. Advertisements on the right indicate it was produced by the Duplex Gate Latch Company, Viola, Illinois. I have been unable to find a patent for the latch.

    September 2017 - This model won first place in the mechanical items category in the Hobby Collections section of the Creative Arts Division at the State Fair of Texas just recently. It will be on display there for the duration of the Fair.
