    This is a more colourful and more unusual Metamec electric wall clock than is usually seen.

    It was probably made for a child's nursery and is probably made of Bakelite. The windmill feature rotates anti-clockwise. I have had another, dark Bakelite colour Metamec clock like this. It can be set to 'tick' as well, but I have this one on 'Silent' as it is obvious the clock is working due to the automaton windmill feature.

      Sucker for kids illustrations and I do collect old children's books... combined with loving bright colours...I could go past this...love it!...:-)
