Recently purchased at an estate sale this mystery ship to Mars really caught my attention. It stands 24 1/2 inches tall and about 3 1/2" in diameter. It has the look of a home made, popular mechanics, wood working project of the 1950's I would love to know more about it , or has anyone see a similar ship. thanks for looking.

Looks really cool. Appears to be homemade, possibly from a school woodworking class.

Mystery solved. I found the original man who mead this piece. He made it in 1953 after he finished he gh school. He had a great love for sci-fi and fashioned by hand from community c books. No kit wasused
