      Looks to be a German canteen (of course). Third photo: US Combat Infantryman's badge on the back. 42nd (Rainbow) Division patch at the top.

      Great trench art canteen-- I love this style of post war souvenir.

      I have seen this style before but don't have an example in my trench art collection as they are usually eagerly sought by collectors and tend to sell high.
