Yes, weird stuff again....I didn't find this particular image on the web. This doesn't appear to have been broken off of something and it's not very large, just 2 1/4 inches square. A paperweight? No idea. Not sure if that's some sort of mark in the third photo or just my imagination.

    Anyone recognize her?

    Thanks for looking/loving,
    ~Bonnie~

Medusa head? If it would be bigger, I would say it was a part of door knocker. But too small for that.

martika - I think that's supposed to be a bow on top of her head. Yes, too small to be a doorknocker and no indication that it was attached to anything. Strange!

Unusual in that the face is so roughly finished. It looks like a first strike of something. It reminds me of furniture decoration but there are no nail holes and would be bronze or brass.

Phil - I thought that when I first saw it. I am sure there is some sort of "number" on the reverse, but it has to be viewed in a certain light. Just looks like squished metal in the photo.

Art Nouveau furniture ornament of some sort, I'd say. It does look like a mark, hard to make out anything from the photos.
