this was found in a leaf pile I have a love of old rough items and this def fits!! as with any neat find i would like to know something about it. there are no identifying marks i can find. it is very heavy for a wall clock but does not appear to be missing any stand? i do believe it is cast iron any one seen this type?

I bet you could have it blasted, powder-coated, and painted-- then find a quartz movement (for simplicity and accuracy) set to put in it. You'd then need a custom case, of course. I feel more like it being a mantle clock.
