    i found this nice little plate the other day. i think that these are western ranch brands, but not sure. anybody have any idea who made this and when? thank you!

      it's not solved Celiene. why are you being such an unsolved mystery enforcement officer? i don't like it.

      Yes the emblems are the standard and historic abbreviations for the zodiac. For instance the little circle with the U on top is the bull w/ horns of Taurus etc. Furthermore it would have come with an intricately interior decorated tea cup that would have been used for tea leaf readings. I actually have the same plate/cup. Leaves are swirled around after drinking then the cup is turned over onto the saucer and some tea and leaves plop onto the saucer design. The location of the remains inside the cup and on the saucer are all then divined based on the emblem onto which they've fallen to tell the drinker's fortune.
