This Victorian bowl is made from three layers of cased glass - clear over shaded ruby, with a white base. It does seem to have small uranium content, possibly in the white layer, as it produces a faint green glow under UV light. With a shape reminiscent of a stingray, or skate, it measures 6.5 cm tall, 20.5 cm x 21 cm wide, & 7 cm across the base. There is raised enamel decoration of flowers depicted in an Art Nouveau style, as well as a small ring of enamelled dots in the centre of the bowl.
    Most likely Bohemian origin.
