This was one of my Flea Market finds today. (With the help of artfoot ) I am sure it's an early Bauer Pottery of California, Matt Carlton hand thrown cobalt blue 10 1/2" tall California Vase. It's 4 1/2" across the base, and 3 3/4" out to out at the rim, and 5 1/2" at the widest point on the vase.
Bauer Pottery opened around 1910, in Los Angeles, California. Shortly after, John Bauer hired Louis Ipsen, as a designer, and in around 1915, John hired, Matt Carlton, an experienced Potter, from Arkansas. With Louis, as the designer and Matt hand-throwing, together they developed the pottery and glazes, for Bauer Pottery. This "California" Line of pottery was made between 1915 and 1930.
Thank you for looking, if you have any comments, information, or questions about this Bauer Pottery Vase, please feel free to add them! :^)

For a bit of clarification - this is called the "California Vase", the Rebekah vase has handles. Good find.
