This was a fabulous buy from a day out in Sydney yesterday. I had seen this vase earlier in the year at a shop in Surry Hills...& I dithered over it for a while at the time, but ended up buying something else. When I dropped by the shop yesterday, there was a 50% off sale, & this time, the vase came home with me to the Mountains.
It is made from swirling red & black glass with a clear casing, measuring 19 cm tall, 10 cm across the top rim, & 8 cm across the base, which has a perfectly polished out pontil mark. The top rim also seems to have an applied black crest.
To me, this unusual vase has a Goth sensibility - that moody, dramatic red & black colour scheme, combined with an austere, chalice - like form. I can't say I've ever seen anything quite like it, which is why it spoke to me. The decor is not a spatter, rather a turbulent blending that is darkly glamorous & exotic. Perhaps it could be classed as a kind of marble effect/imitation stone decor? In person it is darker in tone.
In perfect condition & of very high quality.
    I guess Czech origin, 1920s - 1930s era

Much appreciated, Ales - & great to have an attribution!

Definitely appears to be the 'muscle' or 'webbed' decor which I personally find difficult to attribute definitely - Kralik and Steinwald being strong contenders and quite possibly made by more than one house.

Thought I might add GLUECHIP’s post on CW from 9 years ago about the Joe Mattis’ article on naming standardisation from c.1998 and the terms‘Muscle’ and ‘Webbed’.
