This was a neat buy it now on eBay AU, a Bohemian glass jam jar. It matches one I already have, except that this one has light amber veining & the other one has ruby.
The jar measures 8.3 cm tall & 6.2 cm wide across the base & top. It is made from clear glass with a satin finish & has light amber veined decoration. There is a silver plate lid & matching spoon.
Last photo shows it with the ruby threaded jar which I purchased many years ago at a flea market.
Bohemian origin, circa 1900.

Amber threading = apricot jam/marmalade
Ruby threading = strawberry/raspberry

Much appreciated Peggy - & I think I have almost enough glass & stuff for a stately home but it has to fit into my somewhat more modest home! ;-)
(I wouldn't mind a stately home though...it's just all the extra housework that puts me off, LOL...)
