I have been having a hard time finding info on this.Westmoreland designed this mold but from what I understand Summit Glass bought the mold,probably in the 80s,and reproduced these.It has the newer Westmoreland logo on the bottom of the dish.Being a Leo I have always been intrigued by lions, so when I found this at a decent price I pounced.

My mother collected cobalt blue animal covered dishes (cobalt blue anything, actually) and I inherited them. Love them. Because of this site I'm starting to appreciate Vaseline glass.
