Two more of my grandfather's paintings that he did in while in the Pacific in 1943. Between his shifts as a gunners mate we would go back to his bunk and paint a picture of what he and his shipmates were experiencing. All 66 of his paintings he did while at sea were all done on memory.

That's a great pic, it reminds me of my grandfather, he use to take pictures in World War 2 of the landscape, I guess that's called reconnaissance. Thanks for sharing wonderful pics.
