I did a quickie trip into my favorite thrift today to pick up an Austro type vase that I will post when I clean it up. I found this awesome lion who looks remarkably like my gifted and fabulous (thanks Scandi) Lisa Larson lion. I don't think he is Blenko but maybe some Scandinavian maker??
Love some help here, although he is as cute a button!

I told you I had to go back and retrieve a vase that reminds me of your postings. I haven't gotten it up as the bottom of it hadn't dried by the time I was ready for bed. I didn't want to stick my hand in it to get it dry.

When I was looking for information about my LL dog I run into many images of Royal Krona glass animals, There was a huge controversy about which glass animals were Larson's, which Vallien's... what strikes me is that your lion, that hadn't appear at all in all this search, has just got the very face of the pottery lion.
Thanks Austro and Scandi. I agree that I can't find another of the same design. The lion that Scandi came up with is different. Hmmm...Knock off? Maybe but a really good quality one. One of a kind? My favorite option.

I think I have seen three that are meant to be LL so far.
austro is probably right, contact her .... tho' the 'unik' idea is the attractive option much favoured by those selling on auction sites.
