This is an original "Harold" stone lithograph from my private collection of Magic posters. This is one of the more scarce lithographs from the Harold collections and certainly one of the most gruesome as it portrays a decapitation illusion.
Born Rene Gaura in 1914, "Harold" was a magician that performed a number of great illusions and telepathy in 6 languages. Harold worked in various circuses including Knie, Medrano, Amar, and Krone. "The Cutter Heads" and "The Man Invulnerable" were among his favorite illusions performed.
