This is a nice piece of jewelry, could that be abe lincolns lock of hair in the back? :) any ideas on this piece? age or maker? I believe it is Garnets or Rubies and Sterling with a locket of hair, it seems to be old

This is Victorian-era, late 19th early 20th century. Its hard to tell from the fuzzy photos, but those are probably real Bohemian garnets and sterling silver, though the chain is not gold or silver, looks costume, added later. The hair was cut from a loved one who died, probably a husband, and worn as a reminder of the person. Its a very nice piece!
