    Picked this up at the local flea market over the weekend (Yes, the day before Frankenstorm swept the north east), I was tickled pink that it was the Division I was looking for, the 29th. Turns out the 104th was made up of mostly NJ gents, so that's a plus too!

    If I look through my loupe, I can see the numbered USNG 104 and Corps of Engineers castle discs on his collar. Wonderful detail these old photographs have.

      Small world. I grew up next to Ft. McClellan which was orig. "Camp". We had all those yankees next to us!
      My father was in the last horse cavalry at Ft. Oglethorpe about 100 miles away. (6th cav.)
