Simply Amazing Dave! You have found some exquisted things!! :) Thanks for sharing them with us all!!
Dave,
I was wondering if you could help me out here. I have a painting well I believe it's a painting anyway or a print of Bernard Buttersack. Have you ever heard of him? I find stuff on him but not this exact painting or print. It is signed and dated. It is called, The Last Sun Raise. I am just wondering if you know about him? Since you know you're paintings and such. ANY INFO WOULD BE HELPFUL.
Thank You, Laura
what a great collection, some really outstanding items, if you find that that suit of armour is getting in your way i could offer it a new home :) lol

Laura is that Bernhard Buttersack (1858 - 1925) American New York. Known for Landscapes. If you have picture post them and I will take a closer look. Dave
imander, I scare little kids with that at Halloween. I darken the lights in that room add a little fog and kids take off! Saves on candy. LOL Dave
Dave lot the pics and the house, thats my dream one day to have an old house too. I like the built in bookshelf in the last photo!
LOL, That a old closet, didn't know what to use it for so I stuck a bookcase in it and stacked it with books. Dave
Looks just like my house! I am a painter and a sometime art collector, plus I have some of my mother's painting and my fathers photographs. Every inch is covered with art, sculpture and books. I should upload a bunch of stuff to show you what I have picked up along the way.
Ah! looks like what i used to live like before moveing 4 years ago i had to sell of what I Called cubic areas to dealers who could not refuse at the bargain basement prices asked .I too never bought retail and picked up quite a lot in rubbish throw outs . I actually in the 70's rented a large mansion in an exclusvive harbourside suburb of Sydney on what I collected from those council throw outs - amazing antiques and books .silver and jewelery etc...
My wife would like me to get rid off the piles that still take up all our doulbe garage (never been able to put a car in any of had! and under my house in the rafters etc.....
Dizzy Dave keep up the good work!! Marty
Me, once a week. Takes all day!
Large center painting is Hugo V. Pedersen. Lights are the way I got them and stay that way. Its called a Coromandel Screen from China around 1910-20 period. Walls in red are all hand painted on paper and applied in layers. Each piece of paper is around 8in x 8in. Took a month to complete.
Love it!
Back to the Gods Kids..............................what a great education they are getting, just being around this stuff, and don't kid yourself, they see it and drink it in.....................
Pop, little Tj loves it, he calls himself a Picker now. LOL They had him in the local paper when he traded a Antique Dealer a Soda & 50 cents for a silver dime. Kid watches Storage Auctions, Cash & Cari, American Pickers... LOL

Hey Dave, as concerns albums. I just opened all y Mom's boxes after thirty years of procrastination. She was quite the avant garde in the sixties. There are over 200 records, Janis Joplin"Cheap Thrills", all the Led Zeppelin's, every Billie Holiday, incuding multi album sets, every Nina Simone, Odetta, Clancy Brothers, Tommy Makem, not to mention mucho psychedelic stuff. What do you think I should do with these albums? I almost hate to break it up because it is a musical history tour of the fifties, sixties and seventies(less so).... what should I do?? Thank you, Michelle Amieux, michelleamieux@yahoo.com
