    What is this ..
I figured it was a Speed Gage made by Chelsea.

I wonder how old it is and it has Cleveland Speed Indicator Co. on it .
Was it made for them ?
and was it used in Autos as well as Boats?

    Any Help would be Appreciated.

It's a Chelsea desk clock. Here is some history on Chelsea clocks and serial numbers (found on the clock movement) with approximate dates of manufacture.

Hi, -- I think it's a car clock. - I had one of these clocks, with almost the same face, only mine was made by the --Boston, Clock Co -- I sold it about 5 years ago. - It was bolted to a Speedometer, that looked just like it, - there was no date on the clock, but the speedometer was dated 1907, if you want, I can send you a pic, of the -- clock and speedometer -- I still have several items from the --Cleveland Speed Indicator Co.-- but I do not have any more Clocks. --
