  38. Well I checked into it and as far as having no markings it seem that they didn't mark till after 1950, also items were glazed inside alsom I saw a couple on ebay and they aren't worth alot.

  40. Looks like a WW2 Army officers hat...it is missing the front band which is usually leather, age possibly around the 1950's. hope this helps out some what.
