Grandmother's 1920 Art Deco Purse

I found this among my mother's estate items. It belonged to my grandmother. It is in mint condition and likely never used (or certainly not often). It contains an unused compact and storage areas on one side and a mirror that lifts to another compartment on the other. The material is a soft, suede-like black with gold inlay design. Anyone seen anything like this? I don't know where to start looking.
