    This is presumably the first Handcuff issued to the Dominion Police Force of Canada when they started in 1868,it is also stamped #1. This is a Great piece of Canadian & RCMP History as the Dominion Police Force was the First Federal Police Force in Canada until 1920 when it became part of the RCMP
