This clock was in my great grandfather's kitchen for as long as I can remember. My family owned the house for more than 85 years. I believe it was purchased on the upper east side (Yorkville?) around the turn of the century. It is in working condition. Other than that, I don't know much about the clock.

I don't have any references on F. Kroeber clocks, but I believe that you may have one there. Very nice clock. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, you are absolutely right. I didn't think to look at it to see if there were any markings, but I just did, and it is stamped F. Kroeger on the spring mechanism cast plate. Very Good!
I saw a "FK" design in the glass pattern. I don't think that you often see it in the glass but that definitely means you have an original glass pane there. FK stands for Florenz Kroeber. See this link for a brief history: http://www.clockguy.com/SiteRelated/SiteReferencePages/KroeberHistory.html
Even with the damage to what appears to be a porcelain dial, this is a very nice example. Thanks again for sharing it with us.
