We, Sergio and I, Bought this beatiful posy holder to a professional dealer in Córdoba: Martin Cerda. It costed us 12 u$, that is not cheap here for something so small, 12 cm, but is so beatiful that we could not resist. Generally these pieces were a set in a dinner or haigh tea table, a victorian era habit, so that ladies could put in water the flowers from their posy holder. Here is something to read about posy and bud flowers http://macarontea.com/?p=2824. The enamel is so well done, leaves and flowers in gold and white with a little purple inside the flowers, rococo scrolls in silver. The base is in solid cut crystal to prevent it to fell down with the weight of the posy. It was another one in green to clear colour but it was broken and the price was the same. I believe it is in the manner of Moser.
Great shape and beautiful enameling!
