    Update: I corrected the title, thanks eyeforbeauty!
    I found this in a shop a year or two ago. The great color on the top caught my eye. The top is sterling, with British hallmarks from Mappin and Webb , London 1916. I've seen dresser jars, and similar pieces like this, but never a toothbrush container. I can't quite thinks what to categorize this as, but I'm sure someone will come up with the right one!

      I like mine better! It's older and in better shape, and the top is heavier, and I didn't pay nearly that much for it!!! Thanks again eye!

      A couple, eye, not many out there with the Guilloche enamel. A bunch of plain sterling ones though

      It must be amazing, eye4. I have seen a few dresser jars like this, but the hand mirror must have been awesome!
