Mixed media on natural gourd, entitled "Gourd Nouveau" by North Carolina folk artist Martha Danek. The front of the piece features an interesting yin/yang type juxtaposition of peacock feathers, while the back has an emblematic poppy flowers and dragonflies motif. Not an antique, but still stunning and a fine example of modern Art Nouveau. Dimensions: 15.5" (H) x 9.5" (W).
