Just a cool family pic but I love that you can see the destruction in the background. I would love to identify the family of the child in the picture

What a fantastic photo. It is an incredibly moving image with the destruction, your uncle and the child in his care. Wonderful.
Thanks racer4four............... did you notice the little wooden sandals the child is wearing? Upon looking it up they are called Geta like a Japanese flip flop / clog type thing
